About the Fellowship
The CFK Fellowship is designed for passionate young people who want to develop real-world skills while positively impacting their communities. Through digital training, hands-on experience, and mentorship, fellows engage in projects that promote educational access and contribute to initiatives like WikiQuestions and CTRI.
How the Program Works
The CFK Fellowship is designed to equip young people with essential skills and meaningful experiences within a structured program. Here’s what to expect during the fellowship
Duration
Each fellowship cohort spans 16 weeks, giving fellows an intensive learning experience in a relatively short time.
Workshops and Training
Fellows participate in focused workshops covering digital literacy, communication, leadership, problem-solving, etc.
Project-Based Learning
Fellows actively contribute to initiatives like WikiQuestions and CTRI through project-based assignments. This hands-on experience allows them to apply their new skills in real-world scenarios.

Mentorship
Every fellow is paired with a mentor for the duration of the program. Mentors offer personalized support and guidance to help fellows navigate challenges and maximize their learning experience.
Community Collaboration
Fellows engage in collaborative work with peers and participate in community-oriented activities aimed at improving access to education.
Final Showcase & Certifications
At the conclusion of the 16-week cohort, fellows present their key projects and contributions during a final showcase, highlighting the impact of their work.

Fellows gain proficiency in essential digital tools and platforms, learning how to create, edit, and share educational content such as videos, written guides, and tutorials. These skills empower them to use technology to educate and inspire others.

Leadership & Team Collaboration
Through group projects and mentorship, fellows build leadership qualities and learn the importance of teamwork. They lead initiatives, solve challenges collaboratively, and drive positive change within their communities.

Project Management
Fellows acquire practical experience in planning, executing, and managing projects. From setting objectives to meeting deadlines, they develop the organizational skills needed to oversee initiatives from start to finish.

Fellows sharpen their ability to approach challenges with creativity and critical thinking. They learn to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and implement effective strategies to overcome obstacles, particularly in the realm of education and community development.
